Circular Walk commencing from the car park to Balsdon Farm, the Folly, Northcroft Farm, Swan Inn, woodlands and fields, mainly flat. Pub Lunch at the Crown & Garter - optional.

Park and meet at the Shalbourne Sports Field Car Park, Rivar Road for a 10 am prompt start. Rivar Road is opposite the Plough Inn, follow it to the end of the village where the Sports Field car park can be found on the left. Grid ref 316625.
We will walk along Cox's Lane, crossing the A338 at the bridge over the River Shalbourne where we head for Polesdon, Bagshot, Lower Slope Farm and back across the A338 to Prosperous returning to Shalbourne via Ham. A flat walk - maybe muddy. Mixture of woodland and open country. Take a drink and a snack. Look out for deer !

Park and Meet at Cobbs Farm Shop for an optional Coffee before the Start of the Walk at 10.30 - please park considerately away from the Shop Entrance.
Circular Walk along Canal Towpath to Oakhill, followed by a short uphill gradient to North Standen returning to Cobbs via Hungerford Marsh. Fingers crossed for good weather to enjoy good views - Easy Pace - suitable footwear.

A circular walk along the river, up steps to the disused railway line, a steep gradient, but worth it for the beautiful views across the valley. A couple of stiles, may be muddy, walking boots essential.

Park and meet at Whitegates, Hungerford Park, RG17 0UR (about half a mile from the Kintbury Gate, Hungerford Common) - GR SU 358/679
Circular walk from Hungerford Park to Inkpen Common via Templeton, Inglewood, St Cassian's, Titcomb, Foxhill and The Folly.
The walk is quite flat but a few stiles and can be muddy in parts.
Optional coffee and lunch half way round about 12 noon at The Crown and Garter Inkpen Common or bring a snack.

Short circular walk - Ramsbury to Ramsbury Manor fairly flat.
Circling round to Hilldrop Lane and taking in the countryside around Ramsbury. One steep stretch, mainly flat. Optional coffee or lunch at the Bell.
Parking: Back lane, and MEET at the back entrance to Holy Cross Church, Back Lane, Ramsbury.

Circular walk via Ham, Bitham Lane, Sadlers Road, Anvilles, Prosperous, Upper Slope Farm and back alongside the Shalbourne river. Not too much mud but some stinging nettles. Unfortunately the Plough is closed for food on Mondays but coffees and snacks can be available from the village stores.

Park Gt Bedwyn Wharf and Meet at Gt Bedwyn Railway Station GR SU 2791 6450 - Alternatively catch the 10.20 train from Hungerford to Gt Bedwyn. Walk to The Swan at Wilton via Gt Bedwyn Brail and Wilton Windmill. Take a break at the pub for a drink and/or a lite lunch and walk back to Gt Bedwyn via Crofton. Plenty of scope to adjust the walk , longer or shorter as befits the group on the day. Trains back to Hungerford at 1.35, 2.39, 3.40 and 4.44.

Park in Marsh Lane or Smitham Bridge Road and meet at the Childrens playground at the junction next to the river Shalbourne ( GR SU 26/36 331684). Across fields, woods and meadows to Standen House and then via North Standen to Cobbs for coffee or lunch returning via Freemans Marsh and Marsh Lane. Mostly level, about 5 miles taking 2.5 hours including 30 mins for coffee at Cobbs. Shorts not advised because of nettles and brambles.

Meet at the Town Hall for a short circular walk around Hungerford as part of the 2017 Arts Festival (HADCAF).
Canal towpath, Freemans Marsh and onto the best view of Hungerford (spot the Town Hall clock) returning via Eddington and the Pepperpot Cottages. Look out for the Stocks! Take a drink and a snack and binoculars if you have them!

Parking: At the cross roads in the middle of Wickham take the minor road off the B4000 leading to Welford and Park and MEET near the school on the lefthand side.

Walk to Ham, Ham Hill via Wiltshire nature reserve. Ashley Down, Inkpen Hill and Wilbur Hill, Upper Green Inkpen, Inkpen church, Bitham Lane and Ham to Shalbourne. About 200 m of ascent and 200 m of descent. Bring a packed lunch and drinks. Fine views on the way but with some muddy rutted tracks.

Start of walk outside Chilton Foliat Church - gathering point.
Parking on the road, or in layby on opposite side of road a little further on.
One incline, one field, one stile, tracks and Tarmac.
Optional pub lunch at the Wheatsheaf.
